Update on our life... 4 Years

They say that the older you get the quicker time goes by.
I don't ever want to believe this it is true... but this year was my quickest year yet.

We have had a lot of Changes so brace yourself!

May 2017

Writing 2017 is so weird! The year was so fast that it almost feels like it didn't exist.
We began preparation for our move to Utah.

We replaced our AC unit in our AZ House, remodeled our master bathroom, leveled the yard, minor painting and started packing.

If you want to see some pictures of our bathroom makeover, go visit our 3rd-year update.

This was an exciting month, but like I said most of the things about this month can be found on the other post. I couldn't find very many other exciting pictures except of all the stuff I sold, which was a lot!

June 2017

June gave me all the feels...

I had to say goodbye to my job for the last 3 years which didn't even feel like a job because I loved it so much. We spent our last days today together going to the water park, going out to lunch, getting Fiiz, going to the library and just enjoyed being with each other.

These littles will have my heart forever!

This year I was called as a 4th-year camp leader and it was so much fun! I loved building relationships, inside jokes, and good memories with this fabulous group of young ladies.

Funny story - I was setting up for that night's spiritual program and I was minding my own business putting lights all around the tree when all of a sudden, something dropped out of the tree and I feel wet stuff drip down my head and all down my face and legs. After getting over the shock, I look over and see this GIGANTIC OWL sitting on the ground... it had pooped all over me... mind you.. we were fourth years so we didn't have a shower.. luckily one of the other leaders had a cabin nearby and they were kind enough to let me go shower it out. It was a funny experience that no one believed until they saw the picture.

Had a hurrah at the Salt River with some of my friends!

Visited the Tuscon Temple Open house

Said see you laters

Started our Journey to Utah!

Attended Erics Cousin's wedding in the Logan, Utah Temple.

Started to explore our stomping grounds for the next couple of years!

July 2017

We spent a lot of time job hunting in July. I was able to find a job at a place called Convergys which is a call center. Not the greatest, but at least it was something!

Bear Lake exploration. We got famous Raspberry shakes but forgot to get a picture! They certainly lived up o the hype.

4th of July celebrations with my Great Aunt and Uncle!

July started to get really hot and our house has no air conditioning. At this point, I was ready to be back in AZ where the temps were much higher because at least if you stayed indoors you could remain cool. The inside of our house would be near 92 degrees when we would get home from work so we spent a lot of days up Logan Canyon where it was much cooler. We didn't mind because it was gorgeous!

Participated in Chick-fil free entree day!

Had our first visitors, Tiffany and Jacob & of course their cute kids!   Tiffanys family lives in Logan so we were able to see them for a very quick visit.

August 2017

Eric finally found a replacement job at Wells Fargo and he started his first day of school! I thought I had the first day of school picture, but it is lost! Aggies all the way!!

We take Bell to the dog park frequently because she needs an outlet. We were just sitting here and someone said "You guys need a picture here, it is gorgeous" So she took our picture and this was the result! She wasn't wrong! I really love Logan!

We went to the Logan rodeo with work friends and it certainly did not disappoint! It was so much fun and my favorite was the mutton busting! If you don't know what that is, youtube it and thank me later!

We traveled to California for Eric's brothers (Adams) wedding. This was the last of his siblings to get married. We were happy to welcome Tori into the Family especially since Tori and Adam are living in Logan near us.

We were able to visit with our good friends Shannon and Preston while we were in California. It was so fun to see them and their sweet baby Evangeline.

I stepped on an extremely rusty nail in our backyard and my foot was turning black so we got an updated tetanus shot and a treat!

Started expanding my Mary Kay customer base with drives down to Salt Lake and I didn't mind because it meant FIIZ 😍

More Visitors from AZ, my cousins Corwin and Jessica!

Eric was called in our new ward as Ward Mission Leader which made me a ward Missionary so we put together the annual burger bust and invited friends and neighbors for free food! Free food is always a hit!

September 2017

It's the little things that make me happy! Glad I'm a favorite ;)

We went to a concert at Cherry Peake Near Logan. It was a blast, but I can't remember whose concert haha and it was FREEZING once the sun went down.

Just deer everywhere!

October 2017

October was full of so much fun!

General Conference in the tabernacle with some friends from our ward, Jaron, and Mandy.
There is nothing quite like being in the presence of prophets!

Hikes with friends in the fall! I have never seen a real fall and it made me fall in love with Logan all over again! It is gorgeous and the pictures don't do it justice.

Logan Pumpkin walk. They have all these different scenes made out of pumpkins and they were so much fun!

Tori and Adam invited us to go up to Tori's aunt's farm for their fall festival and it was so much fun! It was in Boise, Idaho. Corn Mazes, pumpkin patches, doughnuts, caramel apples, popcorn, rides... sooo much fun!

Please watch this video for your enjoyment!

Since we were in Boise we decided to go to the meridian temple open house and it was beautiful!

Our fun goodies from the Farm!

We put on our annual Murder Mystery Party and it was indeed a blast! We did the same theme as last year since we had a whole new slew of people!

First Aggies Football game!

November 2017

I love November! Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping. What could be better?
We spent Thanksgiving up in Pocatello with Erics Brother Jared and his family.
I also switched jobs to a place called Conservice which is a utiltiy billing company and enjoy it so much more!

Celebrated my good Friend Kathryns Birthday

Visited with my Cousin Alex in Salt Lake for a temple session and dinner.

Decided to start a new tradition of thankful leaves. It ended up super cute by the end of the month.

Fun times with my Cousin Kevin.

Playdates with Dog friends.

We drove down to Salt Lake to meet Emily, Ernie and their families for dinner since they were in Utah for Thanksgiving. The visit was a blast!

Even though this looks baren, it is still pretty!

December 2017

First Aggies Basketball game!

We got to meet this cute boy for the first time. The circumstances were crummy. We went to California for my Uncle Ricks funeral. It was good to be with family and celebrate the life of an amazing man. He left an incredible legacy. He was always so much fun and would take Ashley and I on the most fun adventures when we would spend summers together. Teepeeing, Ice Blocking, grunyn running... you name it, Uncle Rick gave us amazing life experiences.

Went to AZ for Christmas and got to spend time with amazing friends!

Spent time with a couple of my favorites!

Spent time with our good friends.

I didn't get pictures of all the people we got to see but it was so fun to spend Christmas with our family and friends!

January 2018

Mckay Family pictures

Winter time hikes up the canyon!

Mckay sister came to Salt Lake for a girls trip!
It was so much fun and I got to meet baby Lexi for the first time! 😍
Ice Castles, late night talks, delicious food, nails done... I love girls time!

February 2018

February was a cold one!

Our stake does a huge valentines party so we dressed up and had catered dinner, giveaways and dancing.

Everyone told me how much I would hate the snow, but I actually really enjoyed it. There is nothing better then curling up on the couch with a blanket to read a book and drink hot chocolate while sprinkles down. It is a gorgeous site. I was super nervous about the driving aspect of the snow but we were able to get  4 wheel drive car and I did great!

March 2018

My Cousin Christopher got married in Ogden so we got to see a lot of the Westberg cousins and family.

My family also came to Logan for a visit because of the wedding. It was so fun to have them here, but I don't think my Mom will ever come visit in the winter again unless snowboarding is involved! haha, she was freezing the whole time and with reason since it dropped to 30 degrees at night,

I saw Geena for the first time since she had been back from her mission!
I just adore my time with her!

April 2018

Threw my friend a cute sports themed baby shower.

Ice cream date with friends for FHE at Aggies Ice Cream.

Richie left on his two-year mission. We weren't able to be in AZ for his farewell, so instead, we picked him up from the airport took him to lunch and then dropped him off at the MTC. It was super fun. I am already anticipating him being home in two years.

May 2018

We got a bonus trip to AZ because Erics grandma passed away so we were able to the funeral. We enjoyed time with family and friends as well as celebrating our 4 year anniversary!

We love the life we live and are loving our time in Logan!

Thanks to all our friends and family for helping us live our best life!
