I've written a lot about what the title of my blog is about, but wouldn't that make sense? We usually don't come up with titles, unless it has a purpose. The title of something truly tells it all.
I am sitting here next to my husband while he does homework. (I love him for going to school and doing his homework so he can get good grades and get a job that will not only provide for me but our future chillins, ha PREPARING)
Sounds exciting doesn't it?
Sometimes I mope around or just watch TV and think, poor me.. my husband is never around I never get to see him. He is either at work or in the office doing homework.
(The thing about writing is that it is sometimes hard to put feelings into words, that is why this post will probably seem so scatter brained.)
I've noticed these days that I waste a lot of my time doing things of no value so tonight I've decided to sit in the office with my husband while he does his homework. Let me tell you, I come up with some creative things to fill my time with and I end up doing things that I wish I would have done a long time ago (like writing my cousins who are on missions).
It is amazing how just sitting in the same room as my husband can make me feel so much closer to him.
Sitting here with him also gives me a lot of time to think and gives me a lot of reason to be thankful.
How lucky am I that he cares enough about me to work hard at school?
I am sure he would much rather be relaxing after a long day of work.
Every time I look over at him, I am reminded about how lucky I am that he chose me as his eternal companion.
As I looked over at him moments ago, I noticed his missionary certificate hanging on the wall next to him and couldn't help but be reminded of the love he has for the savior and for the love he had for the people on his mission. He likes to joke about us moving back to Australia (mission) someday but I think he wishes we really would.
That wasn't exactly where I had planned on taking this post but the main thing I wanted to share was this:
Preparing for our future can be both challenging and exciting (Becky Alice Johnson) but ultimately, rewarding!
